Breakfast

The first meal of the day! You will want to be sure your family eats a good breakfast to help prepare for the moving day ahead! Keep your breakfast prep low maintenance as the start of the day will be busy, or grab something the night prior to keep the morning open.

We Recommend: Dry, non refrigerated items (as your fridge may not be hooked up yet if you are moving your own) such as,

  • Bagels
  • Doughnuts
  • Granola Bars (check out this recipe for No Bake Granola Bars that you can prep prior to moving day.)
  • Breakfast Pastries (check out your new local bakery on Yelp to help kick off living in your new home!)
  • Assorted Fruit
  • Oatmeal

Lunch

Lunchtime is a great excuse to take a break while moving, and helps regain some of that energy spent in the morning. Some great lunch options on moving day are,

  • Cheese and Crackers
  • Assorted nuts and fruits

Don’t forget to bring your water bottles to stay hydrated throughout the day, and be sure to pack some Tupperware or paper plates as your dishes will likely still be packed away!
