Our Favorite Real Estate Blogs

Some people may find the real estate business a tad mundane. While this may be true, we have been fortunate to come across some wildly interesting real estate websites. If you are interested in learning more about the business we suggest following some of these blogs:

Sparefoot
Sparefoot is an online source for finding storage units anywhere in the United States. Not only that, but they maintain a blog ranging from topics like tips for organizing or how to invest in the storage business. They have dozens of writers giving you a variety of narrator voices to choose from. Their articles are often supported by research they have conducted themselves. And if this still doesn’t spark your interest, check out their recent blog of extreme moves (https://www.sparefoot.com/self-storage/blog/18194-extreme-moves/) that will have you watching from the edge of your seat.

Inman
The “award-winning” journalists of Inman.com deserve much praise for providing such a strong resource for brokers and real estate agents alike. They have current market insight and credible advice to further your real estate career. It’s no wonder they’re the go-to source for thousands of agents. Their social media presence is strong with over 56,000 followers on twitter, which they keep up to date and use as a platform to connect to users and post their recent blogs.

Redfin
For most agents, Redfin is probably the site that first comes to mind when discussing real estate blogs. They provide international and local insight for the housing market and describe themselves as such: “We cover real estate on Wall Street, Main Street and your street, from interior design inspiration and celebrity homes to local news and easy-to-digest housing market updates.” This has made them popular among brokers and realtors whom have gained great success and knowledge from their blog.

Movoto
Movoto is a fresh approach to discussing real estate. For example they have a separate blog section titled “Fun Real Estate”. These posts are directed more towards a younger, tech savvy generation. With that said, site users of all ages can enjoy their quirky sense of humor and innovative topics. Although, they haven’t posted as consistently in recent years, theirpast posts are still relevant and give readers some solid pointers.

Real estate doesn’t have to be a boring subject and these sites prove just that. If you have a favorite blog that wasn’t featured, let us know in the comments!
